Acceptance of Terms

By using TipApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use TipApp.

User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TipApp.

Tipping Process

• Tippers can tip attendants by scanning their QR codes or manually entering their codes, then selecting pre-set amounts or entering a custom amount on the app.
• Tips will be calculated and processed through the payment method chosen by TipApp.
• Beneficiaries will receive access to the tips available in their E-wallets through the selected payment platform at any given time.

Responsibilities of Tippers

• Tippers voluntarily agree to use the application without undue influence.
• Tippers are responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient funds to pay for the tip.
• Tippers are responsible for any transaction cost associated with their payment method, where some may be zero cost.
• Tippers agree to use TipApp in a legal and ethical manner.

Responsibilities of Beneficiaries

• Beneficiaries agree voluntarily to accept tips through TipApp.
• Beneficiaries are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with receiving tips.
• Beneficiaries agree to use TipApp in a legal and ethical manner.
• Beneficiaries shall not purport to be agents of TipApp or give unauthorized information about TipApp.

KYC Requirements

For transactions exceeding KES 50,000, users will be required to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification by providing detailed identification documents. This is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

Intellectual Property

TipApp and its content, including but not limited to the logo, design, and software, are the property of Mesa Verde Developers Limited. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use TipApp or its content without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TipApp is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that TipApp will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Mesa Verde Developers Limited be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of TipApp.
